Ingredientes

160 g flour

180 g Sugar

75 g of pure cocoa powder without sugar

1 ½ teaspoon baking soda

1 ½ tsp baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon

a pinch of ground cloves

a pinch of ground nutmeg

2 eggs at room temperature

225 g of mashed papaya

95 ml sunflower oil

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or vanilla paste

1 cup of coffee (150 ml)

150 g milk chocolate

70 g butter

Pasos a seguir

  1. Preheat oven to 175 ° C. Grease a mold
  1. In a medium bowl mix the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  1. In a bowl of an electric mixer beat eggs on high speed for 3 minutes until they have increased in volume. Add the mashed papaya, oil and vanilla. When well mixed start adding with a spoon flour mixture.
  1. When well mixed, add the hot coffee and mix again until the dough is smooth.
  1. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for about 25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool 5 minutes before unmolding. Place on a rack and let cool completely.
  1. Melt chocolate and butter in the microwave. Cover cake with chocolate cream.
